I guess now it’s the job of the media to “help” the president. What ever happened to reporting the facts and objectivity. This guy is in love with Obama.

"In this election, people thirst for a savior who will atone for their economic sins of buying things they did not need with money they did not have. The result is a mountain of credit debt they cannot pay and a desperate yearning that somehow a new president will save them from economic hell."

A Historic Day

This is a historic day for our country. We have elected our first African-American President. I only wish he had been someone I could have cast my vote for in good conscience. I believe that the American people have spoken and I hope their choice meets their expectations. I fear that the expectations that this President has set for himself are doomed to disappoint his supporters. With that said, I am an American first, and I will support this president and pray for his administration. I hope that they will make wise and prudent choices.

Many supporters of the President Elect suggest he will be more moderate than the opposition and myself have suggested. I certainly hope that he moderates some of his positions. Raising taxes on the creators of jobs, expanding abortion, and weakening our position as a world super power could all have devastating effects on our nation. I pray that the Vice President Elect’s predictions of a international incident do not come true. But I fear they will. I hope the economy recovers quickly, but I fear that the threat of higher tax rates on both incomes and capital gains will stifle this recovery. I hope that our nation is not heading toward socialism, but I fear that it is. I hope that I will be proven wrong. I hope for the best.

Now that the election is over I hope those of us who disagree on political issues can just get back to being “normal” people. It is really dumb to break off friendships over politics. We are bigger than that. We are Americans.

Jeno Paulucci on Neil Cavuto’s show.

Jeno Paulucci lived through the great depression. Are we in the beginning of another one? We need to listen to the wisdom of our elders. I know things look bad, but they have been much worse in the past. We still have things pretty good.
